The NSS unit of Al Azhar College of Engineering and Technology, as a part of Swachh Bharat Mission, conducted Cleaning and Beatification Activities at Thodupuzha Civil Station on 26th September2024. The day commenced at 9:00AM with the Manavageetham sung by NSS Volunteers, followed by welcome speech by Nijin K Sunil (NSS Volunteer). The one-day cleaning programme was inaugurated by the College Principal followed an address by Asst.Professor Jishnu (NSS Programme Officer, Al Azhar College of Engineering and Technology). After the inaugural ceremony, the volunteers started their activities by 9:30 AM. Specific areas were assigned to each group for cleaning and the volunteers cleaned the surroundings of the railway station. By 3:30 PM, the programme ended with a vote of thanks.The programme came to an end by reciting the National
Anthem.
