The national voter’s day (NVD) has been celebrated on Jan 25 every year to mark the foundation day of the Election commission of India (ECI). In order to encourage more young voters to take part in the political process, Government of india has decide to celebrate Jan 25 every year as National voter’s day. It has been started from Jan 26,2011 to mark commissions foundation day. As part of National Voters’ Day, the Electoral Literacy Club celebrated the occasion on January 24 at Al Azhar college of Engineering and technology by a candlelight march.
