On February 12, 2025, the Standard Club, in association with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), organized an exposure visit for the students (Mechanical engineering & Automobile engineering) of Al Azhar College of Engineering and Technology, Thodupuzha, to Wooden MDF Panels Pvt Ltd. The visit provided students with insights into the production process of MDF panels, showcasing the machinery, quality control measures, and BIS standards involved in manufacturing. It was a valuable opportunity for the students to connect academic learning with industry practices and understand the importance of standardization in production.
