The inaugural function of the Academic year (2023-2027) for the newly admitted students is held at Al Azhar College of Engineering and Technology on 11-9-2023. Mr. Nazeer P A, Regional Transport officer (Enforcement)Thodupuzha was the chief guest for the inaugural ceremony. The chairman, Al Azhar group of institutions,Haji.K M Moosa, has presided over the function. In his presidential address, he highlighted that the students must know their age of responsibility and their values in building life and nation.
The principal introduced the function. In his introductory address, he elucidated the rules and regulations of the academic system and KTU regulations to the students. He also brought some other points related to Exam schedule,Attendance,College timings, Discipline and also highlighted about the college infrastructure. The managing director, Adv. K M Mijas provide special address. He encouraged the students about various new job opportunities awaiting in MNC companies and others etc. The Administrative Officer, Adv. S S Thajudheen felicitated the gathering. He advised that the students must develop good attitude, know their values of life and understand that the failures are steppingstones of success.
Followed by the inauguration ceremony experts from various fields handled student orientation session for successful carrier. Corporate Trainer, Prof. Manoj Govind M A(MPhil)took an orientation class for students and parents on 11/9/2023.K K Naushad (Engineer, KSEB) and HR Trainer took an orientation session for students on 12/9/2023 on the topic Well begun is half done. It helps students to prepare for a successful career with clear vision about what lies ahead and what can be achieved at the end of their courses.
On 13/9/2023 Motivational Speaker Mr. Jijo Chittady took a motivational class for students in an interesting way. Its a warmup session for students before they are ready to hit the ground for their final performance. Dr.Bharath from Al Azhar Dental College took an interesting session about how field of Engineering influence dental field on 14/9/2023.Last but not least, a Yoga session was conducted by Mr. Paul Madathikandam, Yoga Trainer for the students to be mentally prepared for professional life they have set out to achieve.
