The 75th Republic Day was celebrated at Al Azhar college of Engineering and Technology with great fervor and enthusiasm. The event commenced with hoisting of the national flag followed by a speech given by the principal of the institute Dr.Shan M Assis. In his speech, he highlighted the significance of the day and emphasized the importance of setting aside personal differences, backgrounds or individual aspirations to contribute to a shared vision and mission. He further associated this quality with a sense of shared responsibility towards the broader goals of the nation. The speech was followed by a patriotic song.
