About the Principal

Dr. Shan M. Assis is an accomplished academic leader, consultant engineer, and researcher with significant international experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in high-speed flow simulation in supersonic combustion, and has a strong background in engineering principles, project coordination, and applied research in technological fields. Dr. Shan is the Treasurer of the ASME India Professional Section and is recognized as a Chartered Engineer by the Engineering Council, UK, through IMechE. He is an approved research guide at APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala. He has published extensively in international journals, contributed to books, book chapters, and served as Chief Editor for conference proceedings. He also has a proven track record of organizing and delivering conferences, faculty development programs, academic seminars, and workshops. He is the recipient of the ‘All Star Faculty Award 2024’ from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) India Section. He is dedicated to fostering meaningful Industry-Academia collaborations and driving innovation at the intersection of engineering and technology. Dr. Shan’s leadership is guided by his commitment to advancing education, research, and technology for a sustainable future.
