AACET Alumni

The Alumni Association of Al Azhar college of Engineering and Technology has been functioning from 2019 at the college campus. Al Azhar college of Engineering and Technology Alumni Association creates and maintains a life-long connection between the Institute and its alumni. The Alumni Association works to connect alumni, support students and build an unforgettable Institute experience through a diversity of events, programming and services. The mission of the Association is to foster strong bonds between alumni, students and the Institute, to keep alumni informed, and create a network enabling them to remain engaged with their alma mater and help shape it’s future through the Association’s programmes and services. Joining Al Azhar College of Engineering Alumni Association is one of the easiest ways to reconnect, give back to the Institute, and serve as a springboard for further involvement.

The alumni members meet for an Annual get-together every year and all the Alumni present are taken around the campus. In 2021, the college decided to initiate the formal registration process of Alumni Association. The association was registered on Idukki district registrar office under the Travancore -Cochin literary Scientific charitable society registration Act 1955 on the date 16th of April 2021.

Aims & Objectives

To maintain the contacts of the alumni with alma mater.

To promote cultural and social contacts among the old students, present students and staff of the College so as to develop a sense of tradition and heritage in this great family, which in turn will lead to the further growth and prosperity of this great institution.

To provide a forum for bringing together the old students of the college, so that they can contribute effectively to the cause of engineering education and research in the country.

To provide opportunities for developing entrepreneurship and practical know-how among the graduating students and also to impart vocational and career guidance to them

Alumni Meet 2019

Al Azhar college of Engineering and Technology conducted its alumni meet on 15th June 2019 for all, alumni batches at Seminar hall.

The alumna/alumni started gathering in college by 10.00 am and they were received by the final year students of our college and they were accompanied all around the college for refreshing there nostalgias and to show them the various achievements and developments in the years after they have left. After the campus tour they were gathered at the hall and participated in various events.

The alumni shared their memories and the supports given by the institution for the development of their carrier. They expressed their gratitude’s towards the college management, department and faculties for organizing the alumni meet.

Alumni Meet 2021

Al Azhar college of Engineering and Technology conducted its alumni meet on 6th March 2021 for all, alumni batches at Seminar hall.

The alumna/alumni started gathering in college by 10.00am.. The alumni meet was organized by various departments of the college which includes Department of Civil and ECE, CSE and Mechanical and Automobile Engineering . The alumni showed an overwhelming response and actively participated in the meet. Their excitement and enthusiasm during the alumni meet was clearly visible.

The meeting started at 10.30AM with a prayer by the alumni students .The occasion started on an auspicious welcome speech by Ms. Aksharamol G Raj, Asst. Prof., CE Dept. Principal Dr. D F Melvin Jose and HOD’s of all departments lighted the lamp. During the welcome speech She welcomed all the members of AACET family. Principal Dr. D F Melvin Jose gave the inaugural address. He gave information about the achievements and developments of the college and asked for suggestions from our alumni for the development and growth of the institution.

The felicitation address was given by HOD’s of all departments. They asked for the support from the alumni for the carrier developments of the current students and shared their moments with the alumni and wished them the best in their future.
